About Benito Cabrera
Benito Cabrera Hernandez is a composer and performer. From a very young man he studied music and participated in various groups, both classical and traditional music. His work would see him have a place as one of the founding members of the Association Folk University (AFU). In 1989 he won the Certamen Regional Soloists of Timple, organized by the Directorate General of Youth and, from there, he started a career as timplista to focus much of their work.
