About Benita
Benita is an independent artist and songwriter from Toronto. Her versatility bleeds through the music she makes as she visits different elements of Pop, and R&B without being put into a box. Growing up she drew inspiration from Rihanna, Beyonce, and Drake and strives to inspire the younger generation in the same way they did for her. Benita started her musical journey performing in musicals and school coffee houses in high school to then singing backup for local artists in Toronto including Daniel Caesar.
