There are at least 2 different bands named "Beneath The Ashes". One is from Sacramento, Ca. The other is from Canada. 1) Beneath The Ashes was from Northern California. BTA shared multiple members with fellow tech/ metalcore band Embrace The End (http://www.last.fm/music/Embrace+the+End, as well as the short lived pop punk side project Bury My Heart (http://www.last.fm/music/Bury+My+Heart). They put out one 9 song cd on State Of Grace records in 2003, and have a song featured on AMP magazines' Hardcore: Vol 1 Compilation.
