Inspired by music starting with Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, and moving on to more contempary artists such as Stephen Fretwell and Bon Iver Bemmy has always tried to write songs that are a snapshot in time. Music should invoke memories of times and places not only for the writer, but for the listener.
