About Being Alice
Being Alice started as a cooperation between the Dutch vocalist Desirée Michels (Being Alice) and her stepfather Frans van Tuijl, pianist. The name 'Being Alice' refers to Desirée's favourite fairytale and film 'Alice in Wonderland', lately produced by Tim Burton. Being Alice's first and so far only album 'Being Alice' contains of several covers from Aqualung, Muse, Florence + The Machine and Damien Rice among others and is recorded at Mercy Studios, Veldhoven, Holland.
