About Before Cars
Before Cars is an American rock and alternative folk band from Seattle, WA fronted by Chad Channing (ex-Nirvana). After having played in many other bands (noticeably, Fire Ants and The Methodists), Chad formed Before Cars together with his good friends, Justine Jeanotte, Paul Burback and Andy Miller. They recorded a demo of some songs Chad had written over the years, going back to even before Nirvana. A local label, Flotation Records, showed interest and, in late 2006, they recorded the single "Old Chair"/"99 To Go".
