Rebecca June Hewitt (née Cartwright) (b. July 23, 1983 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian celebrity. Hewitt was originally known for her acting career, under the name Rebecca Cartwright and later Bec Cartwright, which included starring in Police Rescue, Heartbreak High, Water Rats and Totally Wild, but she is best known for her role as Hayley Smith in the soap opera Home and Away. Since then she has left acting. She has tried to launch a singing career
