About Beaten Awake
Beaten Awake is from Kent, Ohio and Comprised of ex-members of The Party of Helicopters (who had one of Spin.com's top 20 albums of 2003), Six Parts Seven and Harriet the Spy. Their 2006 release of "Let's Get Simplified" was put out by Audio Eagle Records, a label started by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys.
