About Beata Hlavenková
Beata Hlavenková is czech jazz pianist arranger and composer. She studied composition in classical music at Janáčkova conservatoire in Ostrava. In 2004 she succesfully graduated at University of Massachusetts, in Amherst, USA and has gained Master´s degree in “Composition, Jazz Composition and Arrangement”. In the meantime, Beata is a leader of her own jazz trio with her original music, where the doublebass plays Rastislav Uhrík (Vertigo quintet, Lenka Dusilová band) or Petr Dvorský (Emil Viklický, James Harris etc.
