About Beat the Grid
Beat the Grid is an electronic music duo based out of Ithaca, NY. The sound is influenced by Brazilian, African, Jazz, and Soul music. Both Daniel Frankh (cello, producer) and Hayden Eager (vocals) are in search of their collective sound: somewhere off the grid, where wind energy and solar power fuel creativity and help to keep this planet as well as the next one beautiful. Their first collaborations were under the project name Bro and the Brahs but as the sound developed it became apparent that there was something new being created.
