Bear and Lampshade is a contemporary experimental group formed sometime in late 2008 to early 2009 in Rockville, Maryland. R0bert Übero (pronounced 'Rowbot Nubber'), the core contributor and founder of the band, (as well as the only initial band member who remains living) is heavily influenced by bands like The Spooky Kids and Huey Lewis and the News. Bear and Lampshade are known for their wild stage performances, often involving mock-ritual executions and hula-dancing.
