About Bea Foote

Bea Foote (née Beatrice Harrisson, later Pugh) (v) (South Carolina, September 3, 1896—presumably New York, after 1938) was an American singer, who sported that strong vibrato which characterized many female blues singers of the period. Foote had a matter of fact delivery eschewing a "down in the dumps" style.
