There are at least 2 artists with the name Batu: 1. Batu is the UK Bass and Techno project of producer Omar McCutcheon from Bristol, UK. He has been releasing EPs since 2013 on labels such as Timedance, Fringe White, Hessle Audio and Dnuos Ytivil (the subsidiary of Livity Sound). 2. Batu was a British band from Brighton active from 1992 to 1994 with a strong Brazilian influence. The band Da Lata was formed out of its ashes.
