About Basta Fidel
Basta Fidel - Ska music band with jazz and rocksteady elements from the Czech Republic. It was created in 2004 at the initiative of four members of the Fidel Castro group, which had been dissolved a few months earlier. In 2006 the band's debut album Plezír was released. Featuring the hit song Bloody Mary, the album was warmly received in the Czech Republic, resulting in a nomination in the category of Best Reggae / Ska Album for the Czech Academy of Music awards.
