About Bassisters Orchestra
Bassisters Orchestra is a brainchild of Wojtek Mazolewski, a nu-jazz collective founded in 1997. Their first record, a 2001 self-titled album, is the result of an all-night recording session held in Gdańsk Musical Academy studio. Two years later Mazolewski invited five other artists (Bunio, Mikołaj Trzaska, Macio Moretti, Fisz and Emade) for a joint performance during Gdańsk Jazz Nights. The recording of the gig was published by Asfalt Records in 2004 under the title "Live at Wrzeszcz".
