Barbara Ruskin was one of Britain’s few singer-songwriters in the 1960s, releasing a number of singles between 1965 and 1972 and co-hosting a radio programme for the BBC. Though none of the singles released under her own name charted, Marilyn Powell, Judy Cannon, The Foundations and Tony Christie all recorded her songs.
