Balthasar Fritsch (born around 1570 in Leipzig; died after 1608) was a German musician and composer. Almost nothing is known about Balthasar Fritsch except his few traditional works, from which it is deduced that he studied at the University of Leipzig, played the violin and was perhaps a city piper.
