These are what allow Badlands Trio to craft songs that are at their core instrumentation, even as they glide through the sounds of Rock, Americana, Jazz, and Country. In early 2007, three musicians got together for a jam session. The idea was to get together once, run a few songs, and then decide what other instruments to add to the mix. After a single session, however, they realized that they had stumbled upon something big: the stripped down purity of a trio.
