About Badesalz
Badesalz were a comedy duo from the German state of Hesse. They were founded in the early 1980s by Henni Nachtsheim and Gerd Knebel under the name Badesalz-Theater and initially pursued the project only as a side activity. At the time, both were primarily engaged in other professional work: Nachtsheim sang and played saxophone in the band Rodgau Monotones, while Knebel was a singer and founding member of the band Flatsch. Their first official performance under the name Badesalz is reported to have taken place on December 24
