About Backslashes and Bad Ideas
Backslashes and Bad Ideas is not just another generic pop punk outfit. We are neither polished nor typical. And we proudly separate ourselves from the constant cookie-cutter standard. Our circuit began with just four friends humbly making music. We wrote together inspired by a range of artists, from scene veterans such as Taking Back Sunday and Brand New, to rising talent like The Dangerous Summer and The Wonder Years. Over two years in the making, we have grown together not only in number, but in sound and purpose.
