Back When was formed in January 2002, in Omaha, Nebraska. The band has gone through a few lineup changes and musical changes in their existence, and are now more comfortable than they ever have been. Back When's previous releases have been filled with chaotic guitars and blast beats mixed with dual vocals, but the band has evolved into playing heavier epic songs, bringing together influences from Neurosis and Radiohead to folk and country.
