B So glObal is one of the aliases used by two British musicians and sound artists, Ian Staples & Jon Seagroatt. The pair also work under the names Omlo Vent and Miramar. B So glObal's musical origins can be traced back to Staples' long running interest in what he originally termed 'floating soundscapes' - music which later became more widely known as 'ambient'. From the early '70's onwards, Staples made numerous multi-track recordings, primarily of electric guitars, employing a wide variety of innovative playing techniques.
