About Azzagrat
Azzagrat is a Finnish black metal project originating from the remote northern regions of Lapland. Rooted in the raw and atmospheric traditions of Scandinavian black metal, the project channels the isolation, darkness, and vastness of the northern landscape into cold, immersive soundscapes. Musically, Azzagrat blends harsh, frostbitten riffing, relentless yet restrained percussion, and haunting ambient textures, creating a balance between aggression and atmosphere.
