There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Austere is a depressive black metal band from East Corrimal, NSW, Australia. They formed in 2005 and have released three full-length albums, "Withering Illusions and Desolation" , "To Lay Like Old Ashes" and "Corrosion of Hearts" as well as two splits, one with the German Isolation and one with Lyrinx from UK.
