Atypical is a hard rock and alternative metal band from Kansas City, blending soaring melodies, heavy riffs, and real emotion. The lineup, Rachel Cartwright (lead vocals), Trevor Cartwright (vocals & bass), Dakota Barrett (lead guitar), and Robbie Pointer (drums), first came together in June 2021 when Robbie invited some friends to jam at his birthday party. That casual gig sparked something big: the chemistry was electric, the crowd was hooked, and Atypical was officially born.
