About Atom Band
Atom Band is an underground post-punk/no wave band based in Johannesburg. Fully formed in Febuary 2012, the band consists of guitarist John Shepherd, brothers Vassan (vocals) and Riaan Nirhoo (guitars), Ryan Di Domenico (bass) and David Pickover (drums). Their strange, sometimes noisy and uniquely dark material also draws influence from literature, film, art, anarchy as well as social, political and economic injustice
