David Flick and Matt Robison have been making electronic music together since 2005 as Asymptote: Crunching beats, sub dub basslines, and IDM aesthetics. Soothing, brittle textures overlap with white noise bursts, glitchy loop patterns and distorted breakbeats create an admixture of emotional moodiness and sample-heavy industrial chaos. Asymptote explores various sonic territories and creates a sound that pulls from a myriad of genres to create multi-layered music.
