About Astryd Lypp
In the late 80's/early 90's, Eric Degenhardt and Forrest (Bernie) Palmer Jr. were High School buddies who shared a love for the Arena Rock bands of the era...and embarked on a Journey (no pun intended) to take over the world of Rock. With Eric studying the guitar riff's of EVH and other guitar gods and Bernie (bass) listening to everything from Garth Brooks to Primus to develop his own unique style -- the two posted an ad in a nearby music store, seeking a drummer.
