About Astarte
Astarte was a female fronted black metal band from Elefsina, Greece formed in 1995 by Tristessa, Kinthia, Nemesis. The group split up in 2014 after the death of founding member Maria Kolokouri (Tristessa) due to complications from leukemia. Line-up at time of split: Tristessa (aka Lady Lilith) - vocals (R.I.P) Derketa - synths Hybris - lyrics Ice - drums Lycon - guitars/bass Former members: Kinthia - vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboard Nemesis - guitars, keyboards, acoustic guitar
