About Assane Mboup
Assane is a great talent and comes from a family of griots. He was a member of the great Baobab which made their mark in Senegalese Music. He went into his solo career with a lot of versatility in the type of songs that we made. What is evident is he has a great voice, melody in his songs are recognizable in every album and the messages that he shares are strong, pity not the whole world would understand due to language barriers and he sings in wollof which is spoken in Senegal and Gambia.
