About Asoka
Asoka is a progressive/psychedelic rock band from Malmö, Sweden, evolved from the earlier band Taste of Blues. They released one self-titled album in 1971, but since then it has been recently reissued by the Mellotronen record label due to high demand. Stirred by the re-release, the band released an album titled "36 Years Later" in 2007. [Note] The soundtrack for the 2001 movie "Asoka" ought to be credited to Sandeep Chowta
