About Askatasuna
Askatasuna are a ska-punk band from San Jose, Costa Rica. It started as a Garage band formed by Alonso Rodriguez (Guitar), Cesar Bustos (Bass) and David Ortiz (Drums)who met each other on weekends to play covers from their favourite latin punk bands such as 2 minutos and Attaque 77, they called this garage band "La trama" As soon as they found another guitarist and a vocalist they started writing their own lyrics, and called this new project "Askatasuna" which resembles Freedom in a basque word.
