As Colour Fades are a 5-piece post-hardcore band originating from West Auckland in New Zealand. Formed in 2009 for Smokefree Rockquest West Auckland, the band consists of 5 members: Conin on vocals, Jerr and Jamie on guitar, Rahul on bass and Sam on drums. Beaten by the SFRQ heats in 2009, the band continued to jam despite the blow to their confidence - playing gigs at local stages like The Element Building, Zeal West and Canfly Studios alongside other local talent Cast Them To Ruin
