About Artashes Avetyan
Artashes Avetyan, an Iranian-Armenian composer, and singer, was born on August 14, 1942, in Tehran, Iran. Before embarking on his musical career, Avetyan was an avid football player, representing the Tehran team "Taj." At the age of 14, he began learning the guitar under the guidance of German musician Erwin Mohr. During his school years, he toured various Iranian cities, performing with a musical group, and further honed his vocal skills with the renowned tenor Aram Sargsyan, who had sung alongside the legendary Feodor Chaliapin.
