About Arif Mirbaghi
Arif Mirbaghi is a Canadian-born musician & composer currently based in Tehran. After an early career in progressive metal (Protest The Hero), his inspiration has broadened to include a variety of projects in a plurality of styles. Zuze for Iranic-inspired folk-jazz, Zuze Redux for more of the same. His work can be heard on many other projects including: Kamakan, The Double Cuts Staycation, Babak Barbod, Jack Marks, Kariz Band and others. Arif runs Qame Feraq, a record label issuing select recordings of contemporary Iranian musicians.
