
Ari Lähdekorpi is a Finnish Canadian musician and composer. He was born in Parkano, Finland, but moved to Canada with his parents in the late fifties. Ari is known primarily as a guitarist, but he has come to be known as a composer for television and film in Canada. The most notable composition by Ari Lähdekorpi is the musical soundtrack to the National Film Board of Canada feature film entitled, Letters from Karelia. Directed by award winner, Kelly Saxberg, this film was nominated for a Gemini award.
