About Dan Towey
Like most guitarists raised in Midwest, Dan got his professional start with rock and roll and blues band. He made frequent explorations in soul, funk, disco, country, classical, metal, classical rock, and even polka bands in the fifteen plus years he spent on the road before settling down in one place long enough to get a degree in music composition. Along the way, Dan found John McLaughlin, Wes Montgomery, fusion and mainstream jazz, and has never been the same since.
