About Archetypewriter
Archetypewriter is the most recent moniker Scott Boutin has given his output as a musician. Scott discovered the joy of sound manipulation in the early 90's as a guitarist and a DJ. A love of effects processing combined with a fascination with electronic music inspired his first non-rock oriented excursion into ambient music in 1993. Since then, he has recorded and performed in many different styles including Drum & Bass, Acid House, Dub, and Psychedelic improv.
