At least six bands currently operate with the name Apogee. 1: APOGEE is a japanese synthie-pop band found in 2003. It consists of four members: Nagano Makoto (Vo.& G.) Mano Wataru (Dr.& Cho.) Ooshiro Yoshihiko (Syn.& G.) YUU Hiroshi (Ba.&Cho.) APOGEEs music is influenced by New Wave/80s sounds with remarkably synthesizer parts. In contrast Makoto’s soft and unique voice and many musical elements make a “new mixture”. Trademarks are their highly animated music videos, which never fail to surprise.
