Patart (also "Patard" and several other versions) Antonio, born in Northern Italy, possibly Padova, around 1560, was appointed as a wind player in the Italian chapel at the Warsaw court of Sigismund III, where he is first mentioned in the court records in 1598. At least, he remained there until 1605, when he conducted his own compositions at the occasion of the wedding of Sigismund to Konstanza, Archduchess of Austria. Most likely, Patart died in Warsaw in or after 1605.
