About Antares Sky
Antares Sky (2003–2005) Rising from San Antonio’s post-hardcore underground, Antares Sky carved out a name with their raw, electric, unpredictable live sound. Though their time was brief, they made a lasting impression—releasing a gritty promo CD and landing opening slots for heavyweights like Ratt, Whitesnake, and even Iron Maiden. Their home base was Sin 13, a now-defunct venue where they became a regular force in the city’s heavy music scene.
