
About Anne Hills
Anne Hills (born October 18, 1953) is an American folk singer-songwriter. As well as sole recordings, she has recorded albums in the trio Priscilla Herdman, Anne Hills, and Cindy Mangsen, the duo Anne Hills & Cindy Mangsen as well as the duo Tom Paxton & Anne Hills and the trio Tom Paxton, Anne Hills & Bob Gibson. She also sung in the fourpiece Fourtold. Hills was born to a family of missionaries in India and grew up in Michigan. She studied at Interlochen, where she played in a band with Chris Brubeck and Peter Erskine.
