
About Ann Rabson
Ann Rabson (born in New York City on 12 April 1945; died 30 January 2013) was an American blues vocalist, pianist and guitar player. She was a solo recording artist signed to Alligator Records and a member of three-woman blues ensemble Saffire, The Uppity Blues Women. During her career, she was nominated eight times for a Blues Music Award (formerly W.C. Handy Award) as Traditional Blues Female Artist of the Year. Her debut solo album, Music Makin' Mama (released in 1997)
