About Ankido Darash
Born in Tehran, studied playing the cello and composition under such musicians as Nasser Nazar, Mohsen Tooyserkani, Abbas Zahireddini, Plus Khofri, Davud Ja'ffari Omid and Shahrokh Khajehnouri. He has received his Masters of Arts in Composition from the Open University of Tehran in 2004. As a cello player he acted in the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of Tehran and the Niavaran Orchestra (conducted by Thomas Christian David), maister in Tehran Philharmonic
