About Anilore
Anilore is a shoegaze band from New York, United States. The members of Anilore met in 1992 at college. They soon realized that their musical tastes were shaped by the same influences: bands such as Joy Division, the Cocteau Twins, New Order, the Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Red House Painters, the Pixies, and Nirvana; artists such as Tom Waits and Nick Cave; and the seminal alternative British labels 4AD and Creation Records. After many years of line-up changes, demos, etc.
