There are at least two bands or artists named Angelou. 1) Angelou, a british folk band, and 2) Angelou, a Lithuanian-British alternative R&B singer-songwriter, and 3) Angelou, an American Hip-Hop artist 1) Angelou, a British folk band, was formed in the mid-'90s by Holly Lerski and guitarist Jo Baker. They debuted on Boo Hewerdine's independent label Haven Records in 1997 with the Hallelujah EP. Joined by Phil Di Palma and Chris Evans, they followed this up with 2 critically acclaimed albums
