About Andrzej Nizankowski
Andrzej Niżankowski (also: Nizankowius ) (* around 1580 ; † April 3, 1655 in Kraków ) was a Polish organist and composer. Niżankowski studied 1625-1635 with Girolamo Frescobaldi in Rome and worked there as organist at the church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva . He then became organist at the Dominican Abbey in Kraków. A Polish organ tablature in the style of Frescobaldi is attributed to him.
