About Andrew Chubb
Born in Sydney, Australia, in 1975, Andrew Chubb is a Newcastle based pianist, composer, violinist, violist, conductor and teacher. In 1999, he joined the staff of the University of Newcastle Conservatorium of Music where he has been a lecturer and teacher in Piano, Academic Studies (Harmony, Aural, Musicology and Orchestration), Violin, Viola, Composition and is the Director of the Music Craft Non-Tertiary course. He is also a conductor and currently works with the Hunter Strings ensembles at the Newcastle Conservatorium.
