After borrowing friends’ guitars for months as a freshman at Bucknell University, Andrew Burr purchased his first guitar in December 2000. He completed his first record, Kalmia, in 2003, and followed in 2004 with The Day for All Believers, which included appearances by pianist Amanda Brecker, daughter of legendary jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker, and Grammy Award-winning drummer Steve Mitchell, a past sessionist for Van Morrison, Vince Guaraldi and The Grateful Dead.
