An alternative psychedelic punk band currently based in Invercargill, New Zealand. Drawing inspiration from a vast range of influences and artists such as Sonic Youth, The Ramones, The Dead Kennedys, The Velvet Underground, noise and ambient music, each member offers a unique perspective which often clashes to create something beautiful yet somewhat disturbing. Always aiming for something different, the pounding rhythms, heavy, fuzzed out, sludgy guitars, and extreme vocals are sure to get the population riled up. Wake up, it's Anarchy Rat.
